The Hungarian Summer with its hot and dry weather attracts vast numbers of tourists to the lakes. The climate of the country is temperate continental. The hottest month is July. The numbers of the sunshine hours are 2000 in a year. The average temperature is over 18 °C for at least a 3 month period in Summer. Sometimes it rises to more than 35 °C. Because of these climate conditions, a lot of tourists choose to spend their time at the Hungarian lakes.
Within the one week (or longer required) program our guests could choose the following regions, towns as destinations.
Aqua Active – Lake Balaton

The Lake Balaton with its nickname Hungarian Sea, the biggest lake in Central-Europe. The lake is almost 80 km long, and its coast length is almost 200 km. There are spas and thermal springs situated around the lake. In Summer the maximum temperature of the water can reach the 28-29 °C. In the tourist season, from the 1st of May to the 30th of September there is early warning storm alerts on the lake. The lake has a rich wild-life with several fish species and a wide colony of bird life. There is a good railway network around the lake, and tourists can reach all of the bigger towns by ferries and boats. In May 2008 the water was found to be higher, than average quality saying by statistics. According to the Environmental Health, most of the more than one hundred open swimming Balaton areas have excellent water quality for water sports and swimming. Tourists can find several possibilities for doing watersports like kitesurf, windsurf, kayak, canoe, sailing, water-ski, also they can do all of the dry-land activities, and they can even take part in hot air balloon trips too.
Aqua Relax – Lake Heviz

The Lake Heviz is the biggest thermal lake in Europe. While most of the thermal lakes are on volcanic areas, Heviz is a peat-bottom lake. Red Indian Water Lily can be found all over the lake, there is steam sitting on the surface of the water, and lines of deciduous Taxodium Distichum surround the lake. In Summer the water temperature is 33-35 °C. The lake has a constant and permanent flow of water because of the springs that flow into the lake and because of the temperature difference between the water and the air. The water contains calcium, magnesium, hydrogen-carbonate, sulphur. The organic combinations in the water make the lake unique. In 2003 the Lake Heviz was recommended to be listed as a World Heritage site by the Hungarian National Delegation. In the town Heviz you can find ruins from the roman age, the visitors of the Schulhof Vilmos Promenade can see Plane Tree lines, Ash, Taxodium Distichum and Dawn Redwood. In the marsh-land forest there are trees that are more than one hundred years old. The Egregyi Wineyard produces quality Hungarian wine.
Aqua Treatment – Zalakaros

Zalakaros is a town situated 20 km from the Lake Balaton. It is famous for its thermal water, which contains sodium-chloride and hydrogen-carbonate. These ingredients make the water iodine-bromide, or sulphur kind of thermal water. The medical effect of the thermal water has been proven in urological, gynaecological, gum and mouth problems, in the treatment of people with chronic arthritis, in the recuperate of people with neurosurgical and surgical disability, partial disability. If you want to recover, relax and regenerate, use thermal-, sparkling-, hydro galvanic-, dry CO2-baths, Jacuzzis, medical water treatments, massages, electrotherapy, or if you prefer to spend your time actively, choose original swimming pools, and pools with special water effects. A complex 1-3 week thermal water treatment can help people with exhaustion, nervous exhaustion, physical disability.
Near to Galambok village there is a fishing lake set within a picturesque surrounding. In Nagykanizsa you can find a lake for rowing.
Aqua Fun - Zalaegerszeg

Zalaegerszeg is one of the greenest and most flowery towns of Hungary, 45 km from the Lake Balaton, and 50-70 km from the Austrian, Slovenian, Croatian borders. People, who come here can visit the Azaleas-Valley, which is a botanically protected area of the town, or the Csacsi Arboretum, which is also protected. They can also find here an oil industry- and an ethnographical museum. The Lake Gebarti is available for swimming, fishing and water sports. At the lake there is an Aqua-park with 18 slides (adventure slide, crazy river, black hole, anaconda, turbo, super, kamikaze, twister) and 12 swimming pools (pool with wave, jumping pool). Near to the aqua-park there is a thermal water spa waiting for its guests with voice- and light therapy swimming pools. They can also use saunas, infra saunas, salt therapy room, or require massages.
